About Russ Electric
As mentioned previously, I have been in business since 1975. No job is too small or too large. We have done small jobs in homes and have remodeled large churches that added on to a pre-existing sanctuary. Every job is handled conscientiously and thought out. I prefer to explain to the customer what I find in my FREE ESTIMATE prior to beginning work so they can choose what they want completed. I do NOT believe in pressuring customers into making decisions. Many customers have become my friends throughout the years and have recommended me to others which I am very THANKFUL for!

"They purchased and installed fluorescent lighting in the ceilings of our master closet and laundry room. Everything went smoothly. We called on a Wednesday, Russ called back and spoke to us about the work we wanted done. He scheduled our service for the next day at a time convenient for us. They arrived on time (actually, a little early). Two people did the work and were careful to clean up any messes. They needed to remove old light fixtures and install new ones, which required some drilling and created some paint chip debris and dust. They removed and installed light fixtures in two rooms. The entire process took two hours. I have used Russ Electric in the past and have never had a problem with the work, which is why I continue to use them."

"Our parking lights in the back of the complex stopped working, we also wanted to replace the breaker box that serviced the common areas. Russ was on time, quoted fair prices and was honest and up front. We thought we needed a new breaker box, but he explained how the box worked and the pros and cons of replacing it. He could have easily sold us a new breaker box for $2000, but didn't. He replaced our light sensor that operated the parking lot lights. We haven't had an issue since. I was impressed with his work and professionalism I received a quote to do electrical work in my condo. I plan on hiring him as soon as I find the fixtures I want. Great. Russ is honest and explains everything in detail. He doesn't rush you into decisions."

Russ Electric responded to our needs quickly and without hesitation. When we opened and discovered a outlet was faulty causing us issues; the Russ electric representative assisted us by troubleshooting the possibilities over the phone. When the issue couldn't be fixed they dispatched an electrician within the hour. Our issue was solved; an easy to understand invoice and preventative tips were added to the professional service. It is Wednesday mid-afternoon, the day before Thanksgiving and the on-slot of 20 friends and relatives for the big day and our lights flicker, the fridge stops dispensing water and ice, the stereo sounds like my stomach after a hot dog with chili from the state fair. OMW, we are totally screwed. Oven won't work, lights are out in half the house and the heater won't heat. No idea what it is and after a quick call to Russ Electric where I explained our condition, no real answers but suspicions that it is not in house but an Oncor delivery issue. Time is of the essence and I decided to cover my bases by calling Oncor and having the guys from Russ come by. Could not afford to risk anything. These guys were at my home in 15 minutes and took control. Their ability to diagnose and assess the problem was impressive. Yup, after checking everything out to the n'th degree, it was determined we lost one leg of our power to the house. It was an Oncor problem and we have already called Oncor. Took about 4 hours for them to correct the problem however, due to Russ Electric and their promptness and ability to isolate the problem, our Thanksgiving was perfect. The guys at Russ Electric are THE hands down most professional group of guys I’ve ever seen when it comes to residential electric work. They went above and beyond when wiring in new fixtures for my home and even went as far as to walk me through the entire process. I would highly recommend this gentleman for any and all electrical issues. While I did not have a chance to have him fix my issue I did get to talk to him on the phone. He could have just gotten my info and come charge a service call but he did not. He asked me what was going on had me try something and saved me money and headaches as the issue ended up being the cities. And I don't want to forget the most important thing, HONEST which is very rare these days. People advertise honesty and integrity and you practice it.
